I’m moving forward. To wit, the marketing plan is done and has been submitted to my publisher. I’ve also written my sell sheet and media release. Next task: book plates, book marks and post cards (all with my sister’s art work).

I’ve started calling and emailing teachers I know to set up school visits. All are interested, but as yet no dates are set. Meanwhile, it doesn’t hurt to start planning the visits. I’ll read an excerpt, talk with the students and engage them in some writing, perhaps with a bit of performance or drawing thrown in. (Note to self: get supplies for school visits, a sort of go-bag for readings.)

Marlyn at Stuff and Nonsense is reading my book, for a Teen Tuesday post on her blog — perhaps my first review.

About Lizzie Ross
